To our Patrons and Supporters:

The safety and well-being of our patrons, musicians and staff is a priority for the National Philharmonic and like you, we are closely monitoring the evolution of the COVID-19 outbreak. Based on Governor Hogan’s press conference on March 19, 2020 and the CDC’s recommendation to prohibit gatherings over 10 people throughout the US, we have cancelled the March 21: Mozart Requiem, April 18 Music Inspired by Prose and May 30 Missa Solemnis concerts.

If you would like to donate your ticket to National Philharmonic as a tax deductible contribution, please contact: You will receive a receipt reflecting that this is a tax deductible donation to the National Philharmonic. Your support during this difficult time is most appreciated.

To receive a refund, contact the Strathmore box office at 301.581.5100 or by April 12, 2020. Strathmore’s Box Office will be able to accommodate individual patron’s needs. However, due to anticipated volume, we ask for your patience as they address each and every case.

We are deeply grateful for the many messages of support we have received from patrons, musicians, and the public during this challenging time. We hope you remain safe and well, and we will see you in the concert hall very soon.

Jim Kelly

President, National Philharmonic
