 Fan Mail from 2nd Graders

Joseph from Miss Klaffka's class at Sequoyah Elementary wrote to his namesake in the orchestra. He writes:

Joseph Tersero,
Is it hard to play the Basson [bassoon] and the contrabassoon. I thought that all the musicians played good music. My favorite part was when everyone stoud [stood] up to sing the Little Train of Caipira.
Your friend, Joseph
bye bye

A student of Jennifer Boice at Cashell Elementary School drew a picture with the caption, "My favorite part was when the 16-year-old girl played the flute."

A student from Miss Klaffka's Sequoyah Elementary hopes he'll be just like composer Russell Peck when he grows up. He writes:

Dear Russell Peck,
I think you were funny. I liked when you told us about the instruments. I liked when you pretended you were a ball when the sound was bad and loud. Good luck in the future. I hope I become just like you.
